Currently, we are waiting for our post-campaign survey to be approved so we can then distribute our surveys around campus. Each student is going to survey 15 or more people so we can hopefully gauge a representative sample of the campus. Also, we are planning on conducting focus groups with individuals around the campus.
Our final presentation is schedule for December 3. Each department is working on their individual PowerPoint slides for the presentation. Members of the reports and presentations group are planning on flying to California if we are selected to present our data and findings to Honda. This is a very exciting event!
Thank you for all of your help and advice through our campaign!
Please stay tuned for information regarding our surveys!

Wrapping Things Up
Hey Everyone!
Our internship with EdVenture Partners via the 2010 Honda Insight Marketing Competition is soon coming to an end within the next few weeks. We, at Red and White Concepts, are excited to conduct our post-event surveys and get the statistics comprised to see how well our efforts have paid off. We believe that we have suffienctly reached Generaion Y and given our target audience a better understand of going green with the newly redesigned 2010 Honda Insight. We are confident that we have done our best to ensure pride within Honda and our employers.
Within the next week we will be conducting our post-event surveys to receive a better understanding of what our target audience has learned through our research, event implementation, advertising, and public relations (traditional and non-traditional). With our post-event surveys we will be reaching as many of Generation Y as possible to find out how wide our efforts reached. After conducting the survey we will be comparing and contrasting the pre-event surveys to the post-event surveys. This will ensure that we have sufficient data to better our final presentation. With our post-event survey we will be targeting each of our departments, specifically to see how well our public relation, advertising, and event actions have worked.
We hope that you have enjoyed our events, and more important, received a better understanding of the 2010 Honda Insight. Help us out one more time and take our post-event survey after we publish it.
Thanks!

Outcome from Campaign Events!
Hey!
Last week we hosted both of our campaign events on campus. Hopefully you were all able to make it to at least one event, either in the Brickyard on Tuesday, or Harris Field on Thursday. Both events were a great success and we were amazed to see how many students stopped by to participate. On Tuesday in the Brickyard, we kicked off our event at 11:00 am and sold raffle tickets, played cornhole with students, and had students check out the Insights along with guessing how many candy corn are in a jar! We also provided Mexican food, sub sandwiches, Monster, and Cheerwine.
We were excited to see NBC 17 come out and interview some of our students along with recording some of our event for the 6:00 pm news. The news crew had gotten a hold of our second press release! This was a great achievement for Red and White Concepts.
To spread awareness of our event on Thursday a group of 5 students met at the free expression tunnel on Wednesday night and spray painted the tunnel to inform and remind students of our event! In the tunnel we painted our agency name, Red and White Concepts along with the time of the event and the food that will be provided.
Our event in Harris Field on Thursday contained performances by the NC State Jump rope team and clogging team along with a performance by Bryce Snow. We provided Marcos pizza to any students that attended and took a look at the Honda Insight.
Don't forget to check out our Facebook group and keep up with us on Twitter!

BOOST YOUR ECO WEEK!
SUCCESS!
As many of you who have heard or attended, and for those of you who are new to our marketing event, we are hosting BOOST YOUR ECO WEEK this week. Today we hosted our first event of the week in NC State's Brickyard from 10AM-2PM. With gloomy weather looming over our heads, and an immense amount of pressure on our shoulders, our class showed up to the Brickyard early this morning to get to work.
Things started off slowly, and a few things didn't go off as planned, but we kept our spirits up and with attendance to the event keeping at a steady pace, we all knew that we impacted Generation Y.
With word of mouth buzzing around campus, and free food, drinks, and games, our event became a success! We held a 'guess the candy corn' game inside one of the Insights, drawing our target market into the car, allowing them to actually sit inside the vehicle and check out the unique features. A local Mexican hotspot, Cueva De Lobos, Monster Energy Drinks, Cheerwine and Bryce Snow were all excellent sponsors that also made the event a success. We had coozies made that not only attracted extra attendance, but they also promoted the Honda Insight as well as the competition itself.
Today's event became such a hit that the local NC State newspaper, The Technician, came out to write a story on our project/competition. We also had a representative from NBC come out and film the event. We will be appearing on Raleigh's NBC local channel tonight at 6 and 7PM.
We received alot of postive feedback from Generation Y about the Insight, what they liked and what they felt was important about becoming ECO minded. The car seemed to be a huge hit!
We tallied how many event goers came and sat inside just one of the vehicles, at a total of nearly 140, we had excellent attendance at the event.
We are all pumped about today's performance and having had excellent attendance, we know that Thursday's event will be even better. Remember that this Thursday on Harris Field from 4PM-7PM there will be free Moe's, pizza, games, prizes, and a special performance by Bryce Snow.
Don't forget to BOOST YOUR ECO, check out the Honda Insight, watch us on the news, and come out to our event.
Thanks for the continued support, hope to see you soon!

Successful Marketing Strategy Meeting!
Hey!
Yesterday was our Marketing Strategy meeting where we displayed our ideas and current research to a representative from Honda, a representative from EdVenture Partners, and a represenative from Rubin Postaer and Associates. They are helping us think of new ideas and ways to implement our campaign. They were all very impressed with our progress along with our ideas to implement a successful campaign. Through this presentation we presented timelines for the various departments such as Public Relations, Advertising, Campaign Implementation, etc. along with a certain budget devoted to each department.
Currently we are planning on holding events in the Brickyard and Harris Field starting the week of October 26th. We are going to promote these events by posting and distributing flyers throughout the campus, in classrooms, and in dorms. It is important to increase awareness of our events to have a positive outcome of students.
Our Campaign Implementation team is doing a great job planning exciting events on campus to attract students. For our Harris Field event, we are planning on having Bryce Snow an up and coming artist peform. Not only will this bring his fans but it will also attract other students on campus to come on out and take a look at the new 2010 Honda Insight.
Let us know if you have any other ideas!

Making Head-Way!
Hey Everyone!
Yet another class has passed us by today. With our first marketing pitch right around the corner, we are preparing our presentation and working hard to finalize our big event to present the newly, redesigned Honda Insight to the NC State Community (our Generation Y). Thoughts and ideas have been tossed around the classroom as we try to create the perfect event to display Honda's hard work, as well as ours.
With the Brick Yard being such a large part of every NC State student's life, we thought for sure that this would be the ideal location for our showcase; but once again, that's only one idea in our list of many. We have also thrown around the idea of hosting an event on Harris Field, another ideal location for passer-byers. Our main focus is to make the Honda Insight the focus of the event; we want Generation Y to experience the eco-friendliness, as well as the smooth ride and sleek design for themselves. With that in mind we are working to create an event separate of our main event so that our target market will be able to actually get inside the vehicle without a stuffy, salesperson looming over their shoulders, pitching the price rather than the vehicle amenities. Within our main event, we want students to experience the youthfullness of the vehicle, so we are hoping to implement a marketing plan that will allow Genereation Y to enjoy the event, and more importantly gain a better understanding of the Insight.
This Thrusday, we will be pitching our ideas to a representative of Honda, as well as a few representatives from our employer, Edventure Partners. As a company, Red and White Concepts, is hoping to present a marketing plan that will have the representatives fully engaged, wanting to put our plan in to action immediatley.
With our Twitter, Facebook Group, and our blog we are pushing to reach the NC State community to keep our target market in the loop with our up-to-date progress. These non-traditional PR methods have become increasingly popular among our target market; this is evident with the number of followers that we have already gained in only a short, two weeks of having the websites open to the public.
Along with our PR Team, we have Research, Advertisement, Finance, Campaign Development/Implementation and Campiagn Reporting Teams who are also working very hard to gain a better understanding of our target market, as well as what marketing plan will work best with the NC State Community.
With that being said, we would like to thank all of you who have taken our survey, joined our Facebook Group or those of you who are following our blog or Twitter; your support and suggestions are fully appreciated! Keep the comments coming and let us know what you think!
